Mommy Moment...

Can you see this beautiful shirt Bekah is wearing? This was one of my recent funnies as a mommy. We decided to go to the zoo this past weekend (not too smart since it was a holiday weekend!), but I digress. We load up (Papa, Grandma, Uncle Ben & the 4 of us) & head over to St. Louis. We're at the zoo for about 20 minutes & I decide to put Bekah in the baby carrier. Before I do this, I thought I should check the diaper situation. Well, rather than look to see where the nearest bathroom is, I ask Brad to help me do it in the carseat. You all are probably laughing about here...you can only imagine what happened. Bekah decides to go poo right when I'm switching to the new diaper. I have a change of clothes that would work in cool weather, but there is no way I am putting her in it when it's over 80 degrees out! SO, I told Brad we needed to go to find the bathroom (which was about 20 feet away!!!) & get her out of the poopy clothes & diaper. I take her in & get the new diaper on, but I forget to take the stupid wipes in with me...when I'm on a roll, I'm on a roll. I take her back out and ask Brad if he has his knife, so he can cut off the part with the poo poo. Nope. So he heads into the gift store to borrow scissors. This shirt is the result. Fun times in parenting! I will be sure to put this in her scrapbook so that some day she can wonder how she ever turned out half way normal!! :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Here are all the girls! Daddy is going to be in for it...
We went to Shelbyville for the weekend -- we left Saturday after another roaring round of Mighty Ball Soccer! :) One the way to the 'ville, we (finally) stopped and Brad got a BIG BREAKFAST at the Powhatan in Pocahontas, IL. YUM!
It was lots of fun to spend the weekend with Grandma & the GGs to celebrate Mother's Day! We also were spoiled & got to see my bestest buddy Sarah & her hubby Adam. It was for a tiny bit of time, but it was still great to see her in real life!
