Here is Golden Elkins & the first time he met his daughter. He had tears running down his face ... it made me tear up too. I'm just so thankful that people are willing to do what these men do. They make huge sacrifices. He is such a good dad he won an award & had a special Father's Day dinner prepared for him by Ruth's Chris. What a great thing.

Well, she did it! She really did run to Daddy. We practiced & practiced before bed every night, so I'm so happy she wasn't scared. Brad said that she just started running & he had to catch her b/c she was going to run right by him. There were lots of people in uniform & she hadn't seen him in a while!

Well, they were only 2 hours late! :) We were so ready for them to be back & then we had to wait even longer. Oh well ... we found fun things to do at the airport. You know that Abby loves airplanes! Here it finally is!
