Some days it's just nice to know you're not a total freak. Here's a link to clue you in...so, here's to being ahead of the curve for once. And to think, I had people scoff that Abby was rear-facing in her carseat for over 2 years!! I was a pioneer. Okay, so Dawn & Sarah, you were too, but now we at least have an 'official' validation! Not that we ever needed one... :)

And everybody told me I was crazy...guess its a good thing I don't fall for peer pressure very often. Yay for us...not quite supermoms but we've got a good start!
Come on! The Johnsons are always ahead of the curve!
And, my own pediatrician said it was okay to turn William around at 1, even though he was only 19 pounds. Her comment was, "Honestly, what difference will a pound make??" :-0 Thank goodness for Mommy-research!! Maybe I will no longer get "crazy" looks when this one is rear-facing until 2!
Wow - that kinda puts me to shame! Brooke had a little plastic "pumpkin" seat that she rode in until she was too big for it. It was never secured - just plopped in the car. Boy, were those the days!! If the kid started to cry you would just hold them on your lap. GG Jane thinks one should still do that!! :)
